This category of this blog was supposed to be about crazy stuff I read in the news or witnessed. With all the craziness in the country, world, universe, I could probably dedicate all my time to writing about just this. I read about child violence, that is children committing violent acts. I read about young adults assaulting mature adults. I read about hypocrisy in media coverage. This goes on and on. I think I have heard every generation say, this new generation is (fill in the blank) from mine. While that statement is true, I have come to realize that every generation does change but as the Bible says, “There is nothing new under the sun,” meaning that things change but, in a way, they really don’t
While society and technology changes, human emotions and nature doesn’t. Humans still experience anger, greed, jealousy, apathy, envy, and any other negative emotion. In contrast, we also have a place for love, forgiveness, empathy, grace, generosity, and a whole slew of positive emotions. These emotions are what drive human behavior, and this is why the environment changes, but human behavior driven by these emotions hasn’t.
So in the actual F, well I just don’t know. Understanding that this world is crazy and often times topsy turvy, when all the layers are peeled back, this has happened somewhere or someplace in history. That doesn’t mean that it doesn’t make people scratch their heads and either say aloud or in their minds, What in the actual F?
You actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be actually something that I think I would never understand. It seems too complex and extremely broad for me. I’m looking forward for your next post, I will try to get the hang of it!
