Weight Lifting at 50

Hitting the weights at 50 hasn’t been that bad. I’ve been lifting most of my life to keep in shape but I heard lifting at 50 would be different. I personally haven’t noticed a difference. I’m actually stronger than I’ve ever been. I also don’t feel like I need to keep up with anyone. If I lift more than the young bucks, I can say the old man is stronger than kids half his age. If I lift less, I can say just wait till you get my age. Either way, there’s a positive twist. I don’t know how long I’ll be able to keep lifting and if I’ll keep getting stronger, but I’m going to do it as long as I can.
